Russ Halverson Farms is a
grower and shipper of certified seed potatoes grown in the heart
of the fertile Red River Valley of North Dakota and Minnesota. We
ship several varieties of certified seed potatoes throughout the
United States from our modern storage facilities in East Grand
Forks, Minnesota. Our customers include large commercial potato
growing operations as well as garden centers and truck farms.
Our seed potatoes are grown under both dryland, and irrigated
conditions in a northern climate, resulting in seed that is high
in specific gravity and extremely vigorous. We practice strict
sanitation and maintain a scheduled fungicide program. All of our
seed lots receive three summer field inspections and are winter
tested by our respected state seed departments.
Our current inventory includes the following varieties of seed
potatoes: Red Lasoda, Red Pontiac, Red Norland, Dark Red Norland,
and Russet Burbank. We can arrange transportation and shipping,
bagged (50 lbs or 100 lbs), bulk, or 2000 lbs totes. |
